FR4 PCB Material
Fiberglass and epoxy resin is weaved together to create FR4, a flame-resistant composite material. This fire-retardant property makes FR4 the go-to choice for most Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing.
FR4 absorbs practically no water, making it an excellent electrical insulator. It’s also mechanically strong and maintains this strength and insulating ability even in humid environments.
